ElasticXL VSNext - Where Are VSwitches Created and Managed?

Hello Check Point Community,

I am preparing for an ElasticXL with VSNext deployment using Check Point 29200 appliances and would like clarification regarding Virtual Switch (VSwitch) management.

Where should VSwitches be created and managed in a VSNext environment?

For example, if I need to create VSw4002, VSw4003, VSw4008, and VSw999 as per the attached diagram:

• Are VSwitches created from the Gaia Portal/WebUI?

• Are they created from SmartConsole?

• Can they be created from Clish/CLI?

• What is the recommended method according to Check Point best practices?

I am trying to understand the separation of responsibilities between Gaia Portal and SmartConsole in VSNext deployments.
