We are facing some issues with connectivity via Super Node. Super is defined and configured in the client settings. If we had a look at the registry settings (HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\Device Agent\SuperNodeLocations) on a client we see the defined Super Node. But the client never contacts the Super Node.
The Super Node in the registry settings is defined by name. But how about the connections to the Super Node? Ist done via IP-address or via DNS name and if with DNS name then with full FQDN or only with the hostname? And how about if a proxy is defined on the client ? Does the connection to a Super Node use the proxy settings or not ?
