Which version of Endpoint is used with this system?

Note BIOS updates come up as potential solutions for this amongst other non Check Point fixes.

I had the same problem when I installed version E88.72 on my notebook with the encryption blade. When I restarted the machine, the OS had the same problem. The only solution I found was to enter Windows recovery mode and restore a previous OS image.

Thanks - but sad to say - it was a clean install not an upgrade. (done after the WinX deadline). I will try to decrypted the drive next. I will let you know how things turn out.

This happened to me too. I installed E88.72 perfectly, but when I restarted the machine it wouldn't boot and I needed the key to decrypt the disk and perform the image recovery.
