Upgrade to 1909

We are trying to upgrade desktops (HP 800 G3 and G4) from Windows 1803 to 1909. Upgraded BIOS to latest version and EPS  (FDE and MEPP blades) to E84.00 prior to upgrading. Using SCCM to do the upgrade. Task Sequence sets FDEControl to BCDboot before upgrading and follows the steps in sk120667. Most of the machines upgraded fine, but a number of the ones we did so far (68 successful, 17 fail) have failed with a BSOD 0xc000000f.

The only way to fix the BSOD is to go to boot menu (F9) and select UEFI - Check Point Full Disk Encryption, which then rolls back the upgrade and puts the desktop back to 1803. Any one have any ideas?

Edit- there is nothing different about the machines that fail as far as I can tell. All purchased at the same time, imaged the same way.

I would get the TAC involved to assist in troubleshooting with one of the machines

I do have a ticket open, but who knows how that will turn out...

Just looking for some community responses.

Any feedback? We are having similar issues with Dell devices.

Are you restarting after setting devices to BCDBOOT as prescribed? And is Checkpoint boot option already selected in the bios before the upgrade?

As I recall there was a specific HP firmware / bios update required to address this.

Are the Dell machines running the latest?
