Uninstall Check Point from a MacBook Pro
I have Check Point Harmony installed on a MacBook Pro but there is no longer a connect to the Check Point Harmony portal.
What is the forced removal procedure for this scenario?
Thank you,
David Anderson

Uninstalling the Client on Mac
To uninstall the Endpoint Security client on Mac computers:
- Open a terminal window.
- Run:
sudo "/Library/Application Support/Checkpoint/Endpoint Security/uninstall.sh"
If the Endpoint Security client was encrypted, the uninstall script first prompts for a reboot so that the volumes can be decrypted. After decryption, the script continues to uninstall the client.
After you uninstall the Endpoint Security client, you must reset the computer through SmartEndpoint on the Security Management Server. See Resetting a Computer.
Note - We recommend that you run the database backup on a daily basis.

This no longer works, at least it didnt for me, had to manually go to the folder and i found it under Endpoint Connect/uninstaller.
They should really make it easier to uninstall this software

Thats odd, I have not heard any complaints about it myself, but I do agree, it should be way easier to do this.

When you mount the installer for the DMB with Endpoint Security (VPN), you should get the file dialog that shows the installer for Endpoint Security (VPN) as well as a link to the uninstaller, which should work for older versions also.

The instruction above is for Harmony Endpoint. Harmony Connect is a different client and indeed should be uninstalled as you mentioned. There is no contradiction here.

Forgot to say you need to be logged in as the actual admin to run this, but I assume it worked : - )
