Unable to install the policy In Endpoint Server
Hi Team,
I am facing some challenge while installing policy on endpoint server.
Server Details: R77.30.03 Gaia and with the latest jumbo take_317
But this time is not for all. I am able to install the policy to all the blades(i.e sandblast, FDE, media encryption, etc), except Client setting.
I recently change the legacy uninstallation password under initial client settings, After that I unable to install the policy for the "Client Setting" option.
Here I am adding the screenshot for your reference.
Note: Except Client setting, I am able to install the policy for the rest.

Have you opened a TAC case on this?

Yes, But the solution isn't provided yet.
That's of the reason why I was looking some suggestion over here.

The issue was resolved by the following procedure :
1. cpstop // this command will stop the server from running
2. Backup and remove the following files:
/opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/CPMILinksMgr.db
/opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/newDleSchema.xsd
/opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/new_scheme.C
3. fwsetUpgrade
4. cpdb scheme_adjust // this command execution may take around 20 minutes
5. cpstart
But I am not sure how this occurred, Looking for the root cause.

Hopefully the TAC should be able to help you with that.
But I suspect, based on the files being removed, there was some corruption in the aforementioned files that needed to be cleaned up.
