SDL and pre-logon VPN not working after upgrade to R88.41

Hey there,

we have an issue on all of our clients in the upgrade test group after upgrade from R88.31 to R88.41 (all Win11 Enterprise 23H2):

SDL just won't work anymore. Additionally you cannot connect to VPN manually before login (the entry is there but no connection window opens).

If we login using cached credentials we can use the Harmony Agent without issues and connect to VPN, too.

Anyone else seeing this?

also seeing this bug, it was also in (now removed) r88.40 release... already have a case open with checkpoint support...

to "fix" it, you have to do a repair install of the endpoint client, then it works... but R&D is working on a better solution

I hope such bugs are eventually documented in the release notes...

according to R&D it should be fixed in E88.50, which should be released soon...

I'm hoping R&D can release something less drastic than a full upgrade to a brand-new release.

So far support has asked me for logs via sk169258 which unfortunately isn't possible when doing pre-logon at the Windows sign-in screen 😞

I have a feeling there is something seriously wrong with E88.41, as link is not even there to download it via support site, so probably gets better in E88.50

we have tested the new recommended Release E88.32, and SDL is working again, like it should, so we did a downgrade from E88.40 to E88.32
