Password complexity / history check

Hi

Recently my endpoint clients have startet informing users upon violation in current AD password. I have never seen this feature before and wonder how the client knows.

Issues such as "history" and "complexity" are reported on the desktops to the user.

How do I configure / disable these checks - are the notifications based upon my rules or "best practise" ?

Kind regards

Peter

Wrong place for a question - this is MS, CP EPS only let you talk to AD here ! So, use your MS documentation or links like: https://www.networkworld.com/article/2726878/configuring-password-complexity-in-windows-and-active-d...

Hi and thanks for your reply.

I am not sure i understand  your statement - my issue IS related to EPS, since the notification originates there (see screenshot) - i have no issues with the AD setup and am fully aware as to my policy on the matter.

I seek help as to how and where the EPS is integrated with my password policy.

Kind regards

Peter

If LDAP on MS AD is used for EPS authentication, the EPS is integrated with your password policy.
