On-Premises Endpoint Management and Hyper-V Server 2022 support
When will Check Point support R81.20 Gaia on Microsoft Server 2022 Hyper-V?
Only 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 are currently supported.
https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/hcl/
I had strange and intermittent problems with Endpoint Management (Check_Point_R81.20_T631) installed on version 2022.
NAT option for the EPM server disappeared in SmartConsole.
EPM processes failures.
Thanks,
Don

HCL requests usually need to be routed internally through Solution Center, which means: checking with your local office.
Having said that, this isn't really an "Open Server" request.
I imagine this will be a supported target for R82, though.

Unless I'm missing something the HCL now includes 2022 hyper-v support for R81.20
When did that happen?

No idea, but it does bode well for R82 🙂

Indeed.
I need to find out more on it but I can't seem to find what is needed.
I was thinking it is maybe only supported with a JHFA since it's new on the HCL but I can't find anything in the R81.20 JHFA documentation site.
sk106855 does not show support for 2022.
That sk was edited 4 days ago but there's no update log so I can't see what changed.
I put some feedback on the SK about all that.
Would be good to understand more about this.

SK is updated 😊
I still want to understand if it is supported in an existing R81.20 management VM that was built before the update of the support for Hyper-V 2022 was published (recently), or if there is any change or rebuild required.
Getting there..

My guess is that the drivers have been there since the initial R81.20 release and only recently was QA completed to certify the configuration.
That's probably how TAC would interpret this SK also.
