Network issues after upgrade to v88.72.2001 EDR

Hi everyone,

At the start of this month, I upgraded around 200 laptops to Check Point Endpoint Security 88.72.2001, with no issues reported. Shortly after, I updated around 100 desktops, also without problems.

However, this week (July 15), after updating the remaining 1,200 desktops, some users reported network connectivity issues — devices showed no network connection, although their phones worked fine on the same network.
The only change applied was the EDR upgrade.

Below are some specifications from affected machines:

OS Build Version Domain Model Memory Processor Motherboard Graphics
Windows 10 Pro (64 bit)10.0.19045.596522H2GLOBALHP ProDesk 400 G7 Small Form Factor8 GiB DDR4Intel Core i5-10500 @ 3.10GHzHP 8719Intel UHD Graphics 630

Has anyone experienced network loss issues after deploying 88.72.2001? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Open a TAC case for this.

You could test using this CheckConnectivity.exe which is in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\Endpoint Common\bin

When you update to the versions in management, there is a duplication that takes 30 days to disappear.
