Missing Yellow Padlock in Taskbar
This is a little off topic, I'm on a windows 10 machine and the ES "yellow padlock" icon (where you go for display overview or updates) isn't showing up in my taskbar. How do you bring up the display/updates/about from the command line or somewhere in program x86?

try this - it worked for me
open command prompt - may need to do so as admin - may not
use the following command:
cd "c:\program files (x86)\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\ Endpoint connect
hit enter, then
trac connectgui
hope that helps

I don't have any sites defined. I'm not using the VPN client. Just ES for malware and threat prevention. So, how do I (the ES client) update the client and get updates if I don't use the VPN piece?

This ended up working, my padlock came up.
C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\Installer\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\UIFramework\Bin\cptrayUI.exe
It should start the UI padlock.

We had this issue occur with a user recently and wanted to post the current location for the full EPS client.
C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\UIFramework\Bin\cptrayUI.exe
