Logs

What logs on the endpoint would I look for info on why its not talking to the management server or policy servers? In Smartendpoint I see the PC is listed as having the client but up top it states that it has never connected to the server. Also when pushing a policy to it or trying to update the def files it fails.

Im not an endpoint expert, but just logically thinking, can you try filter for the PC ip address to see if anything comes up?

This is the sort of thing that should typically be looked at from the endpoint side of things.

If you'd look at the cpda.log file found somewhere in client CPinfo (or the ProgramData directory), you'll see listings of all the network addresses the client attempts to communicate with as well as the associated failure messages produced if that link isn't established properly.

What version are the clients do they have 443 access to the policy server or EPM?
