Introducing "Nano Agent"

For the past few months, we’ve been working on adding new functionality we call – “Nano Agent”.

It introduces a few major improvements as opposed to the current “Initial Agent”, including:

  1. It has a very small executable (smaller than 1MB)
  2. It’s agnostic to the client version
  3. Passes Smart Screen validation – no more download warnings
  4. Reduce network traffic for installing selected blades

It’s available for new cloud deployments (services running R80.40 with Take 72 or higher), OR for on-premise deployments running R81.

To obtain it just click the “quick install” in your web management interface.

It’s seamless to our users; the only difference is the file’s extension which is “.EXE” instead of the normal “.MSI”.

@David_Robinson It's already included, you just need to use the web management.

Hi Kobie

The Quick Install option is greyed out on the web management on R81, see attached screenshot.

Thanks

@David_Robinson Have you uploaded the relevant packages to your server? I suggest you'll consult w/ TAC to have it resolved.

Seems like a configuration issue.
