We recommend not updating to this version until further notice.
We are currently investigating the issue; we will share more details later today.

My M1 MacBook air went into restart loop post the update🥲
I was about to open TAC case for it for a customer. Any idea if one can roll back?
Time Machine backup
Yea, thats true...I have macbook air at home, but its a bit older model, never really tried that method.
Apple Configurator and reinstalling IPSW file needed (to make sure, firmware is downgraded too)
Thx _Val_
My unerstanding is, all you need to have is outlined in the SK. If you still need assistance, please open a TAC case: https://help.checkpoint.com
p.s. actually previous post was a question to _VAL_. apologies
We are working on creating such steps and will share them ASAP.
Sounds good, thanks!
Excellent news!
The fix works, thank you.
Unfortunately, the update was already downloaded and installed on some Macbooks so we had to fix those. The steps described in de SK article are clear.
I was wondering why this happened. Didn't Check Point test the beta version of 26.3? Or was this caused by a last minute change to the MacOS?
We encourage our users to keep their devices up-to-date especially with security updates. So we don't like to block or postpone installation of minor versions of the OS. Is that something we have to do in the future?
Kind regards,
Evert.
I believe the change in the network module was introduced in the GA OS version, but not in beta. This is what I heard, and it is also affecting other vendors, not just Check Point. Apple apparently sneaked somethign that was not tested.
did you successfully roll back to 26.2? if yes: how in detail?
Hi
Have the same problem here. A login reboot loop after upgrade to macOS 26.3 running EPS 89.20 klient.
Deleted the folder "Library/Application Support/Checkpoint/Endpoint Security" for EPS in the terminal in "safe mode". Then we can login to the OS. But, we are not able to reinstall the package 89.20, installation fails after that.
You might also have to remove the network filter from EPS in macOS to get networking working.
Cheers
Morten
