Hyper-V and Endpoint (Harmony) pre-boot keyboard issues.

Hello,

This is a very specific issue that I hope the Check Point team can help with.

With a Windows 10 VM running in Hyper-V and having the Harmony / SANDBLAST AGENT installed the pre-boot screen does not support a mouse but also the keyboard only works for a limited time. Meaning that typing in the credentials and getting to OK in quick time is essential.

Interestingly at one point the screensaver kicked in and after that the keyboard worked again but only for a few seconds before it seems to freeze again (or not be accepting keystrokes because it is off doing other things...??).

Any useful help or advice will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Don

Not sure we've ever tested this with Hyper-V, but it is odd that the keyboard just "stops working" after a time.
I have to assume a UEFI boot is being done versus BIOS?

In the custom Hyper-V portal that we have access to for the Endpoint training there is no BIOS access 😞

Is this our Techpoint/Demopoint or something else?

But it's down to Hyper-V because a number of us have seen this behaviour.

Very difficult to test EP recovery options with no mouse or working keyboard.
