How to remove Symantec using SandBlast Agent

Hello All,

We’ve uploaded a video demonstrating how Check Point remove Symantec’s SEP using SBA with a few clicks of a button.

Here’s a link to our official video on YouTube.

Supported starting version E83.11.

Hi Kobie,

Is there any SK with more information about this feature? Is it possible to use this tool to uninstall other software or solutions?

Just funny to me - if i can uninstall it myself, surely also CP can do it. Saves you one double-click, that is all...

We are working on an SK, I'll share its details soon.

There are 23 hardcoded upgrade codes of Symantec products.

Search and removal of these product families can be triggered by adding REMOVESYMANTEC=1 property to the command line.
In addition, there is an option to remove any other MSI-based products passed in REMOVEPRODUCTS property by ProductCode or UpgradeCode.
For example:
EPS.msi REMOVESYMANTEC=1 REMOVEPRODUCTS={8D92DEB1-A516-4B03-8731-60974682B69C};{23170F69-40C1-2701-0000-000004000000};{9BE518E6-ECC6-35A9-88E4-87755C07200F}.

Hi Kobie,

Do you have any update regarding SK. I tried to find it but it doesn't seem to have been published yet?
