Harmony Endpoint On-Prem Hardware Requirements

Hello,

I have a potential customer that is planning to get 1200 licenses, for some country regulations and compliance they can't get the Endpoint Cloud version. They asked me what's the hardware specifications for this amount of endpoints.

I already checked the Endpoint Management Server requirement but it says is all about how many logs the endpoints will generate per seconds, the base is 16GB RAM and 4 CPU cores plus 895GB Disk space.

I want to know an estimated amount of CPU Cores and RAM memory for this case.

FYI:
They are planning to acquire 900 prevent and 300 complete licenses.

Thanks for your help

Hardware Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to enable Endpoint Security management on a Security Management Server:

Component

Requirement

Number of CPU cores

4

Memory

16 GB

Disk Space

845 GB

The requirements for dedicated Endpoint Security Management Servers are similar.

For an Open Server (which is what you're doing), use similar hardware specs to the equivalent Smart-1.
In sizing a Smart-1 appliance for Endpoint management, you take the number of gateways supported and multiply by 100 (at least historically).
For 1200 Endpoints, you're at a 600-M per the datasheet:

This suggests you should consider more RAM (at least 32GB) and possibly more cores.
