Harmony Endpoint Linux client support for new Linux OS versions

Hi, does anyone know more or less what the timeframe is when a new a new Linux version is released that there will be a GA Linux client?

E.g. for Debian 13 as currently only 9.12 - 11.8 is supported, 12 is not yet supported.

I know for Windows and MAC that as per the sk it is within 2 months but obviously is a longer time frame for Linux.

Thanks.

While I may not have the full answer to the question you asked there has been a lot of progress in this area that wanted to share

  • There has been significant infrastructure change for the Linux client and has moved to an architecture called "Universal Package" that reduces the dependencies between the Harmony Endpoint client and the underlying Linux distribution. While architecture changes may not always be the most interesting features for our customers, the end result is a reduction in the underlying effort to support new distributions / versions
  • In recent releases have increased the velocity / number of additional Linux distributions / versions we are supporting. Can see more details in the post below

At the moment there is no published time frame for new versions as we still progress the solution and still recommend working with account team / partner for specific requests. End goal is to move to a published time frame for new version support
