Harmony Endpoint Deployment in China
We are currently considering proposing the Harmony Endpoint solution to one of our customers who has a branch office in China.
As you may be aware, China enforces three major cybersecurity and data protection laws:
Cybersecurity Law (CSL)
Data Security Law (DSL)
Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL)
Given the regulatory landscape, we understand that SaaS-based cloud services face several restrictions, particularly concerning the storage and transmission of data outside of China.
Many global vendors such as Palo Alto and Zscaler have responded by introducing China-specific platforms or solutions to ensure compliance with these laws.
We would like to inquire:
Does Check Point have any plans or existing offerings tailored for deployment in mainland China that address these compliance requirements?
Are there any known cases where Harmony Endpoint has been successfully deployed within a branch office located in China?
We appreciate any information you can share on this matter and look forward to your guidance.

Personally, I think it would be best to approach your local Check Point Sales engineer about this.

FYI, you can run an on-premise management for Harmony Endpoint.
Not sure how that impacts compliance with these laws.
The local Check Point office should be approached with these questions.

I know of a branch deployment in the past where the issue encountered was with VPN as this is restricted/not always working o.s.
