FDE Missing or Corrupt System File on Boot

An XP Pro system fails to boot owing to a missing or corrupted System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys file. Would it be possible for anyone to please provide a working link to download each of the following items:

• Full Disk Encryption - Dynamic Mount Utility 1.6
• Dynamic Mount Utility 1.6 Administration Guide

to allow the user's data to be recovered before the hard drive is reformatted?

Thanks in advance

This tool is only for EPS FDE before E80.xx - but this just as a besides. The working link for expert access is Full Disk Encryption - Dynamic Mount Utility 1.6, if you can not access it you need TAC or your CCSP.

Thanks for your replies. I'm already aware of that link, when I've called Check Point support the call ended after a very short period of time with a load of static noise!! Less than helpful to say the least.

Open a TAC support ticket in UserCenter so CP can forward you a download link. Or did you download the tool and guide already and now need help ?

I must admit the whole process extraordinarily frustratingly convoluted just to be able to recover data - maybe it is deliberately so.

Thanks for your assistance.

@ridgedale I understand you are upset, but could you please elaborate, what exactly is "extraordinarily frustratingly convoluted" in your case?

That is true - PointSec has had its weak points in the past ! But that was long ago - XP Pro is out of support since 8th April 2014 😎
