After we upgraded endpoint server to E80.20 i have some issues with deployment rules.
If a computer is in multiple virtual groups it no longer uses the rules with higher priority but if i put the computer directly in the rule it works.
The server TPNODE1 is in both the group "E80.87 Anti-Malware" and "Only Anti-Malware 80.80" and this rule setup does not work, it still has E80.80 and no E80.87 update deployed
With this setup it works E80.87 is deployed to TPNODE1
Has some rule logic changed in R80.20 that i might have missed?
Got hotfix from TAC (sk138353) and virtual groups work as expected now.
After upgrading, did you confirm TPNODE1 is still in the correct groups?
I had someone in R&D look at this thread.
It seems there may, in fact, be a bug here as we heard a similar report from a different customer.
Please open a TAC ticket so we can gather the appropriate information.
Thanks, i will open a ticket
