Hi all,
We are currently having an issue deploying Endpoint to mac devices at a particular organisation.
So far we have done the following:
• Ensure the installer is the latest version (88.10), tried other installers as well compatible with particular OS versions.
• Ensured they’re running the latest macOS version (Sonoma).
• Tried running installer from their desktop, not the downloads folder.
• Tried running installer with elevated permissions.
• Ensured they’re an admin on the device.
• Ensured they’re able to install apps downloaded outside of the app store.
• Run the pkg installer from Show Package Contents > Resources > Configurations > EPS.pkg
• I’ve checked our software deployment settings in the Infinity Portal as well and that is configured correctly.
• They did have CrowdStrike which has been uninstalled.
• I’ve installed Endpoint on other macs in the last week without any issues, it is just this organisation in particular that is being effected.
When the installer is running a popup also appears asking to input a password to Disable Endpoint Security. Never seen this before when installing, does anyone know what this is?
I've attached a screenshot of the popup and of the error message when it fails.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kane
