EndPoint for Server Optimization - How is it applying?
Hi guys,
I have a question about the "EndPoint for Server Optimization".
The following scnarion as an example.
Virtual-group-1 contains 4 servers:
Server1: Terminal Server
Server2: File Server
Server3: Web Server
Server4: File Server + Web Server
If I apply the following "pofiles" to a policy which contains the Virtual-group-1
Are all exceptions based on the relevant role applying to all servers of the virtual group Virtual-group-1?
Or is there an intelligence used by the agent which detects the instaled role on each server and based on the results there are only these exceptions applying.
Hope you guys are understanding my question?
Cheers,
Olli

I believe it will use the union (combination) of the different profiles, which I believe is primarily exclusions of specific files/directories to ignore.
However, it's probably best to confirm with TAC: https://help.checkpoint.com
