I have a client that is being offboarded and they have what looks to be a CheckPoint Antimalware tool installed that is preventing Windows Defender for fully activating. There is no instance of CheckPoint in Add remove programs but there was a folder entry ""c:\Program Files (x86)"\checkPoint\enpoint-security\antimalware\epam_svc.exe". The technician manually deleted the checkPoint folder but Defender still will not run.
Is there a removal 'Clean Wipe' tool similar to what Symantec has. If not, are there specific registry settings we can clear so defender will run?
