Backing up Windows with Veeam

Is anyone backing up Windows workstations with Veeam that has Endpoint installed?

If so what is the secret sauce to making it work? I am unable to deploy the Veeam

agent as long as Endpoint is installed.

Thanks.

The following suggests we've had issues with Veeam in the past: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut...
Might be worth a TAC case.

The sk phoneboy mentioned suggests issue was fixed in E83.20, which was  a while ago. Im happy to tes this myself, if you tell me what blades you have installed on the client itself.

We are running R86.60 so that's not it.

One thing I have discovered. If the Agent is installed before Endpoint, it works.

If a job is being run the first time, the agent install is blocked. So the workaround is, remove endpoint, run the Veeam agent job, reinstall endpoint.

Also worth looking on vendor recommended NGAV exclusions: https://www.veeam.com/kb1999

Sorry, totally forgot to update, been busy, apologies. I tested this @Tony_Graham and got same results, no matter what I do. You are 100% correct, IF veeam is installed BEFORE harmony endpoint, no issues. If after, no matter what blade combination you do on endpoint side, it will never work. Is this expected? I have no clue in the world. At the end of the day, that seems to be only way to make it "work".
