A problem with launching Portal Agent has been detected several times

I am encountering a persistent issue when trying to connect via the SSL VPN Portal on my Windows 10 laptop.

Whenever I try to connect, the Mobile Access Portal Agent fails to launch, and I receive the following error message: "A problem with launching Portal Agent has been detected several times. Contact your System Administrator. Code: 300"

My Environment:

  • OS: Windows 10 (Fully updated)

  • Antivirus: Windows Defender only (no 3rd party security software installed).

Troubleshooting steps I have already taken (without success):

  1. Uninstalled and reinstalled the SSL Network Extender (SNX).

  2. Uninstalled and reinstalled the Mobile Access Portal Agent.

  3. Completely uninstalled previous Java versions.

  4. Installed JDK 20.

  5. Cleared browser cache and local App Data temp files related to Check Point.

Despite these steps, the "Code 300" error persists. The agent simply refuses to initialize properly.

Has anyone experienced this specific behavior with recent Windows 10 updates? Are there specific logs I should look into to diagnose why the agent is failing to launch?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Does it happen only on that one machine?

Then its 100% safe to assume its just that machine thats the problem, nothing to do with CP side. Honestly, I would do the reset option from the settings and test.

@kiikoo15 Did mention JDK 20 though, not sure if version 17 was attempted. Regardless, based on all that was mentioned already, since its only this one machine, sounds to me reset of it would be the most logical thing to do.
