In this series of videos made by  @Tom_Kendrick (with voiceover and light editing by @PhoneBoy ), we will show you how to install Check Point R80.40 from scratch in VMware Workstation and configure for Remote Access use. This will naturally cover a few points that will apply to any Check Point installation.

This environment is running in VMware Workstation on a Windows PC with two VMs:

  • Check Point R80.40 configured as Gateway and Management (i.e. Standalone)
  • Windows 10 VM used for SmartConsole and Remote Access using the Check Point Endpoint Security VPN client
