Improved Polling method for CloudGuard Dome9

CloudGuard Dome9 has improved the way it synchronizes with your AWS cloud accounts to obtain information about protected cloud assets.

This improvement can result in a significant reduction in the number of  API calls made by Dome9 to your account, and the number of CloudTrail events that record them.

Dome9 checks regularly for changes to assets in all cloud regions. In regions with no changes over a period of time, the polling rate is reduced. This reduces the number of API calls to fetch information about the assets in the region. If changes are subsequently detected in this region,  the rate is increased again. 

In regions with changes,  the polling rate is not reduced.
