Hi everyone, i'm trying to discard session look in checkpoint i found the command
Expert@Hostname]# mgmt_cli login -r true > id.txt
[Expert@Hostname]# mgmt_cli discard uid 3053495c-df2a-43bf-874e-ab424f8d3894 -s id.txt
[Expert@Hostname]# mgmt_cli publish -s id.txt
Expert@Hostname]# mgmt_cli logout -s id.txt
but when i follow it an error appears
code: "generic_server_error" message: "Management server failed to execute command"
can anyone help me fix this or give me another way to do it?
Which command generated this error?
If it is the publish, it's expected since discard is immediate.
[Expert@Hostname]# mgmt_cli discard uid 3053495c-df2a-43bf-874e-ab424f8d3894 -s id.txt
this command
Confirm the session referenced actually exists.
This can be done with show session: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/latest/APIs/index.html#cli/show-session~v2%20
I agree with Phoneboy, makes perfect sense.

Hi,
Feel like session missing? Can try search the available session first?
mgmt_cli show sessions -s id.txt
