did you try with the dot (.)?

set access-rule ... vpn.add.directional.0.from "something" vpn.add.directional.0.to "something"

The 0 (zero) is the instance number based on the index.

Indeed the syntax is wrong 😁

and the "add" actully override the cell value

 

Obviously this feature must be enabled
