How to use mgmt API 'run-script' against 61Ks?

I'm using the 80.10 mgmt API to execute 'run-script' calls against a mixed gateway environment of 61Ks and non-61Ks. Does anyone have a working pattern for executing either clish or gclish commands as needed depending on which gateway type is being worked on?
