Creating a custom blade

I have a customer who wishes to have our product integrate with checkpoint.  What they want to do is have checkpoint send files it sees to our product for analysis just as can be done with a sample being sent to a sandbox.    Is there an open interface that would allow us to create a blade, or an interface that would allow an existing blade to invoke an executable with a filename on disk
