Change Language of Links at Threat Prevention

Hi Checkmates,

We're currently testing Threat Extraction and Threat Emulation in our email communication. When a document is extracted, our security gateway adds a notification for the user. You can configure this message under:

Manage & Settings » Threat Prevention » Advanced Settings » Threat Extraction » Configure Mail Signatures

There is an option to include a link that allows users to download the original files. This link uses the placeholder $link_to_original_file$, which is later replaced with the word "here".

As we are a German company, our users prefer to have all messages in German. Is there a way to change the translation of "here" to "hier"?

Additionally, on the UserCheck Pages, there is an option that allows users to resend the original email to their inbox. This text is also in English. When inserting the field, the default text is "Send Original Mail", which is then displayed on the page as "Send original mail to me" along with an input field for the email address.

Is there a way to customize this text as well?

Thanks in advance!

You mean maybe this one?

How to change the mail disclaimer text?

On any email handled by Threat Extraction, the gateway adds a disclaimer for each attachment, describing how the attachment was handled (for example: "foo.doc: file(s) were stripped"). To change the default text of these disclaimers, in the gateway go to $FWDIR/conf and open the scrub_debug.conf file. Edit the value of the disclaimer you wish to change. Save and install policy.

SK83700 was perfect for localizing the UserCheck pages.

SK120415 is nice, but it doesn't seem to address my issue.

I’ve looked into this solution. I didn’t find any disclaimer text in the scrub_debug.conf file, but I did find some in the template_scrub_user.conf file.
However, this still doesn’t solve my problem.

The following two screenshots illustrate the issue:

  • The text in an email (the word "here" should be replaced with "hier") :

I see no harm in using here instead of hier - even gives the same sound... But you con open an SR# with CP TAC to find out how to change this or if it can not be changed.
