Creating a bond using WAN & DMZ ports on 1800 appliance

Dear ChackMates,

My customer is asking to configure a bond interface using the WAN & DMZ ports on their appliance.

When we try to do this via the GUI interface these ports are not available for inclusion in the bond.

Does anybody know if there are any documents or best practice information explaining why this should not be done?

We know that it can be forced via command line but we prefer to seek the greater knowledge before going along an unsupported path.

Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards

Andrew
