Change the device Local to Central in Checkpoint 1800 appliance SMB

Dear Team,

 

Please help me in below scenerio:

 

I have setup of Checkpoint 1800 appliance in which Local selected which has policies , but i want to migrate that into central .

 

Please suggest whether i need to do reset of device or i can select directly central option and make policies on management server.

Choosing the central management option in the Web UI will in essence reset the appliance pending further configuration.

The policies would need to be manually recreated in the management, they cannot be imported/transfered as such.
