We are pleased to announce that Check Point Quantum R82.10 is now the recommended release for all customers.

Already deployed on thousands of gateways worldwide, R82.10 introduces more than 20 capabilities that support secure AI adoption, strengthen threat prevention and Zero Trust, protect hybrid mesh networks, and simplify security operations.

Key highlights include:

• Secure AI adoption: Enhanced visibility into GenAI applications—including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini—and Model Context Protocol (MCP) usage.
• Advanced threat prevention: Phishing protection without HTTPS inspection, protection against HTML smuggling and encrypted DNS threats, Adaptive IPS, and four new Threat Cloud AI engines.
• Improved security insights: Threat Prevention Insights identifies coverage gaps and provides actionable recommendations to strengthen security policies.
• Hybrid mesh and Zero Trust security: Centralized SASE and firewall management, simplified connectivity, and identity and device-posture validation across distributed environments.
• Unified security ecosystem: More than 250 integrations enable organizations to incorporate identity, endpoint, and device-posture signals into their security policies.
• Greater scalability and simplicity: Expanded identity and gateway capacity, reduced log volume, simplified route-based VPN configuration, and an enhanced web-based interface.

Important information

The recommended version is R82.10 with the latest recommended Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator. Customers are encouraged to plan their upgrade to benefit from the latest security, performance, and operational enhancements.

Spark R82.00.11 Early Availability program is now open for registration.

As part of this program, we are looking for selected customers and partners to validate the release, test the new capabilities, and share feedback before GA.

This release includes multiple UI enhancements, remote health monitoring capabilities, and important security fixes, along with several new features and improvements.

As part of Check Point’s Frontier AI readiness program, we continuously review and strengthen our products using BLAST, our Business Logic Application Security Testing capability. BLAST enables AI-driven security analysis at enterprise scale across Check Point products and helps us proactively identify and remediate potential issues.

Hi All,

R81.20 SmartConsole Build #678 has been released today and is available for download.

For more info please refer to SmartConsole documentation (R81.20) 

Starting from R81.10, SmartConsole automatically updates to the latest Build, as long as you have an Internet connection. The update is rolled out gradually and should be completed within 1 week. It is not necessary to download and install newer builds manually.
