Hi Elad,

thanks for the update. It is good to know that there will come significant improvements!

For most production environments R82.20 is still a long way to go. Are there additionally any plans to improve stability of Skyline in older versions like R82 or R82.10 (which is still recommened major release)?

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Sven

Hi @Sven_Glock ,

Thank you for your feedback.

Our roadmap is shaped by real-world input from customers like you. We continuously improve quality while minimizing disruption to your day-to-day operations. Most importantly, we understand that updates must never interrupt your workflow—especially during critical overnight hours.

To ensure stability, we evaluate each change individually:

  • Major features that may impact daily operations are released in new major/minor train (MT) versions and go through an extended validation cycle.
  • Smaller enhancements and bug fixes may be backported to earlier versions as part of AutoUpdater, when appropriate, so customers can benefit from improvements without waiting for a full upgrade cycle.

This approach helps us deliver innovation with the reliability and predictability your teams depend on.

Thanks, Elad
