Usability: Check Point Protect notification that gives no insight nor recommends further action

Last night, I got a Check Point Protect notification on my Pixel 3a. It says:

"Security Analysis is in progress
Abnormal app install rate detected"

This obviously concerned me. I didn't install anything in my sleep. Was my machine hacked? I went to look for more information.

1. The notification had no more information.

2. It didn't navigate me to the app at all, let alone take me to the appropriate page.

3. I opened the Protect app and it told me nothing about any app install rate.

4. I can't remove the message by sliding it away or even when requesting "Clear all". Other messages go away but this Security Analysis message stays.

I expect notifications to tell me something so I I can do something with the information: analyze my machine, steps to take, navigate me to an app page where I can get more context. This notification does none of the above.

Looks like this message is true: Security analysis is in progress - it has not ended yet, that is all. Usually, i handle such issues by 1) waiting a while, if not better 2) closing the app in question and open it again, if not better 3) switching off the phone, wait some seconds and booting it again.

Analysis in progress after 10 hours? Shouldn't it be able to recover on its own?

I forced a stop and restarted it. The message has gone away for now.

After 10 hours ? No, i would wait 5-10mins in that case, then proceed to step 2 (as you did already).
