Support for Android devices without Google Play services

The Android version of SandBlast Mobile Protect now supports devices without the Google Play services.

If you operate an Android device that is not configured to use or connect to Google Play services, you can now enjoy the benefits of SandBlast Mobile.
The SandBlast Mobile Protect app will switch automatically to work with a 3rd party push notification service in case the device does not include the Google push notification service.

Known issues:

  1. It is recommended to deploy the app using MDM in the case of devices without Google Play services in order to be able to push app updates.
  2. Currently, the app does not include a self-update feature.
