Email App inside the Capsule Workspace does not support MFA (two factor autentication).

Hi everyone,

I'd like to share some issues I had setting up Capsule Workspace with our Office 365 accounts.

I made the configuration with the help of sk103721.

In the Single Sign On screen I had to leave it configured for the user to enter the email and password.

I could not make single login work.

We are using Microsoft MFA, and de email application inside the Capsule Workspace does not support this.

To work you need to create an app password.

After that the application works normally.

I hope this helps you.

Good luck.

Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for the post.

We are working on a problem with capsule workspace and are unable to fix it.

We have the Oauth working and MFA also works to authenticate.

The problem we now have is that we can authenticate and even receive push notifications but we see no emails in capsule.

Can you please tell me where you have seen that MFA is not supported by the capsule app ?

This may be our problem.

Hi,

I cannot find this information with Check Point.

I already had problems with other applications with the same behavior.

I found the solution by doing tests.

The link below shows how to create a password for apps that don't support MFA.

Using app passwords with apps that don't support two-step verification

I hope it helps.
