Under some conditions, "Network Interface" in Gaia WebUI drops session

I do not expect it to be frequently encountered, but in my case, loading Gaia config from one VM with two interfaces to the one with a single interface, results in all attempts to access "Network Interfaces" dropping the session:

Unable to connect to serverUnable to connect to server

This behavior persists even after the missing interface was added, config reloaded and VM rebooted.

All other sections of the WebUI are working as expected.

Yes - just disable it for that IP address.  Check out PMTR-47120 listed in the Known Issues for I think all R80.x / R81 releases.

I've run into this as well.
Workaround is to X out the Connection Error dialog (don't hit Ok).

Thanks!

I'll try that.

Did you kick it up to developers?

I mentioned it internally anyway.
Not sure if it has a bug for it or not.

Are you running uBlock Origin by any chance?

@Ruan_Kotze , I do indeed. Is that the culprit of this behavior?

Thank you for pointing it out!

Weird though that it only affecting the "Network Interfaces" section .

Huh, I also run uBlock Origin.
That explains it 🙂

It turns out that it is catching on the filter *##+js(no-floc) from uBlock filters – Privacy  and it fails to load interfaces_stats.js

This also worked for me. Niggly little issue, isn't it?

Stumpled on this one as well in the past. There's already a sk126433 for this.
