Windows Defender and Check Point Anti-Malware Blade

Can Windows Defender and Checkpoint Anti-Malware Blade could exists on same Windows 7 or Windows 10 Machine. Why Anti-Malware Blade do not disable Windows defender after initial anti-malware blade installation

I believe it is Windows that does the actual disabling of defender, at least that is how it appears to work on Windows 10. WIndows detects another AV product and turns Defender off. I actually looked into trying to force Defender to remain on because it offers the Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) features/rules that most other vendors do not offer but there is no way to do this.
