View configuration in R75.40
Is there a "show configuration" equivalent command that can be run on R75,40 in order to obtain the checkpoint configuration ?

Hi,
Actually I need to review the configuration on a firewall to find out whether there are any areas in which security hardening can be done. Is there a way to get all the security policy configurations and the OS configurations dumped out in .txt format so that I can analyse it?

Some of the other comments on this thread explain how to get the OS configuration.
Probably the best way to visualize the security policy configuration is with the Web Visualization Tool.

As a larger issue, R75.40 has been End of Support for quite some time.
It's highly recommended you upgrade to a supported release.

Hi Phone Boy,
We also have R75.40 (Secure Platform) running on some gateway.
As in R77.30 gaia through show configuration we can take backup of the device.
But R75.40 doesn't have command show configuration.
If we want to view/backup complete configuration on R75.40. how can we achieve it.
Thanks

This is the one CLI backup command missing in SPLAT - here, you can do a backup or snapshot using WebGUI or CLI and a CLI Database export for SMS, but an equivalent to GAiA show configuration is missing !
Instead we have to use what is available in SPLAT:
- netstat -rn > routes.txt
- ipconfig -a > ipconfig.txt
- ifconfig > ifconfig.txt
- copy /etc/sysconfig/netconf.C <location>
(from deleted sk62220)
