Scenario to R80.20

I have the below scenario and i am looking for the best way to implement it.

The first point is that I have a standalone R77.30 which we would like to upgrade it to R80.20 .

Secondly we would like to add it in an existing R80.20 MGMT .

What is the best way to achieve to add it to an existing Management?

Hi

Please refer to sk154033 "How to migrate R80.x standalone management environment to a distributed environment"

You will need to upgrade first to R80.20 (or R80.30) and then follow the steps in the SK.

Upgrade is detailed in sk85900: Importing the configuration between a Standalone machine and a Management only machine

and in sk98831: "Execution finished with errors" message on migrate import / export command failure.

About joining the Management with existing R80.20 MGMT - you will have to use this script, which will require some manual steps (recreating the gateway objects, cleaning up duplicate objects, etc): Python tool for exporting/importing a policy package or parts of it‌.

sk85900: Importing the configuration between a Standalone machine and a Management only machine should not be used as it is does not apply to R80.x

Use it if you first want to migrate the Standalone to Security Management while still in R77.30.

Otherwise upgrade the Standalone to R80.20/R80.30 and then use sk154033 "How to migrate R80.x standalone management environment to a distributed environment"
