Logs not sent to the smart console

Hello, 

We have a checkpoint version R80.10, and the logs isn't sent to the MDS.

How can i check or correct that ? (I'm beginner )

I verrified the options in the screenshoot.

The screenshots are for syslog settings, which is irrelevant. How do you know logs are not sent? How logging is set on the FW object? Did you install policy? Is this a new FW?

In short, give us the full picture

Hello Val,

In the MDS, when i filter by origin (the firewall), there is no log. Yes it's a new FW.

Still not enough info. Did you install policy on that FW yet? Which log server is configured on the FW object? How many log servers do you have? Did you perform "Install Database" action after pushing policy to that FW? Is there any traffic?

Thank you for your answer.

Yes we install policy on that Fw. 

On the Fw object, we configured the ip of the MDS as the log server. We only have one log server.

Yes, we perform "install database". Yes there is traffic, and the users are connected throught the firewall.

Please also do a telnet from the firewall to the CMA IP on port 257 to confirm fw_log port is open.

When you say the "IP of the MDS", this is not correct the IP set as the log server should be the CMA management object, please clarify this part.
