Cluster re-sync

Hello, During network maintenance we have to break Sync link between CP HA cluster nodes. After we reconnect our Sync, how do we ensure/verify that cluster nodes are in Sync? Will it recognize that it lost number of Sync packets and will try to resend them or no? Do we need to somehow force re-sync?

No special action is required from your side. ClusterXL will recognise both sync failure and restore of the normal status. Full sync will be performed when back to normal.

To check cluster is fully operational, run cphaprob stat. If you see one member as Active and another Standby, you are good.

In addition to what Val said, cluster sync events are logged by default to $FWDIR/log/fwd.elg.  So after breaking and re-establishing sync you should see messages something like "Full Sync Started" then "Full Sync Completed" in that fwd.elg file.
