Capsule VPN: User not allowed to get Office Mode IP

Hi,

I have a client that uses the Check Point Capsule VPN and we are having some trouble with connecting to the service. To clarify I am a user, not an administrator of this particular product. I am just trying to assist the client with my own connection so that I can access the resources I need to operate.

If I go to VPN endpoint of the client through a web browser and authenticate (https://endpoint_url/post) I am faced with

User is not allowed to get an Office Mode IP address.

Now the servicedesk at the client says there is nothing missing regarding accesses, and I cannot find any posts that reference this particular error message. Does anyone know what the cause of this error is?

When authenticating to the Windows VPN - setup with Capsule as the provider, I get a generic user name or password is incorrect on the windows security authentication - despite definitely using the correct credentials.

The inability to get an Office Mode IP is most likely a license issue.
They need Mobile Access or Endpoint Security VPN licenses.
Some resources to look at here: https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Remote-Access-Solutions/Remote-Access-VPN-Short-List-of-Most-Use...

They may have also disabled access via the Windows VPN provider as well.
