API service

Good evening ;

I need to allow an external application with a fixed IP to communicate with
our server behind a cp3600 firewall. The
solution is to set up an API that the external application can consume.
My question is how to open a port or service, to enable the application to connect to this API in order to receive and send data in our system?

High-level:

  • Allocate public IP address
  • Configure static NAT rule
  • Configure proxy-ARP (if needed)
  • Configure Access Policy rule
  • Install Policy
