Upgrade of R80.20 cluster to R80.30 in Azure

Jump to solution

Hi,

I got a cluster running R80.20 in Azure, this is not a part of ScaleSet. How would you ga about upgrading these gateways ? Can I just do it trough webui - since they are at R80.20 ?

Any sort of in-place upgrade is not supported, you need to have new vm's deployed with r80.30.

Is there a way to do this and maintain the public IPs.  I have a customer that needs to upgrade their Azure environment but can't at this time since they have so many customers with VPN connections to their Azure environment.

Thanks,

Eric

it's possible for sure, if public IP is set as static, you can associate to different NIC on Azure VM, afterwards you need to change alias IP on eth0 interface on new VM's.
