VS Licence

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding Check Point Virtual System (VS) licensing. Are these licenses perpetual or subscription-based? I noticed a renewal date for the VS item on the portal.

If the support expires in a production environment, will the VS continue to function or will it stop working?

Thank you.

hi,

VS license are permanent. Renewal date in the portal is the support date you have bought. If this will expire the VS system will still be working. But you cannot get updates for it (jumbo) or support from TAC.

Note that Software Subscription for blades like IPS are not permanent!
